Important Dates and Deadlines for NEA Students in the Winter Term of 2025/26

• Sign-in for Lectures: Mon, 22.09. - Mon, 06.10.2025 incl.
  
• Sign-out of Lectures: Fri, 10.10.2025 (from 12.00 am onwards) – Mon, 04.01.2026 incl.
  
• Registration for Exams: Mon, 12.01. - Fri, 23.01.2026 incl.
  
• Registration BA Paper : Tue, 04.11.2025
  in person with the degree programme coordinator. Also hand in your registration form, signed by your supervisor and by yourself.
• Hand-in BA Paper: Tue, 13.01.2026 to Mr Ralf Lechermann at the Examination Office
• Start Winter Term: Mon, 13.10.2025
• End Winter Term: Fri, 06.02.2026

Master's Thesis in the Winter Term of 2025/26

• Registration MA Paper : by Tue, 26th August 2025 at the latest
  with the registration form provided by the Examination Office. This has to be signed by both the supervisor and the examinee.
• Hand-in MA Paper: Tue, 13th January 2026 to Mrs Gülperi Yildirim at the Examination Office 

Master's Thesis in the Summer Term of 2026

• Registration MA Paper : by Tue, 24th February 2026 at the latest
  with the registration form provided by the Examination Office. This has to be signed by both the supervisor and the examinee.
• Hand-in MA Paper: Tue, 14th July 2026 to Mrs Gülperi Yildirim at the Examination Office

Financing your Studies

The central students' counselling annually organises an Information Marketplace in the Lichthof of the main university building on how to finance your studies. There you will receive information on BaföG (financial support by the state), on scholarships, students' bank credits or students' jobs. Please register for this event.
