Statues

The numerous statues and relief orthostats show an iconography unique in the Ancient Near East. The majority of these finds had been exposed in an especially installed Tall-Halaf Museum in Berlin until the Second World War, which was destroyed by bombs in 1943. Within the framework of a broad restoration project, the disrupted images are being assembled again in the Near Eastern Museum in Berlin.
