Research Training Group Prestige

The DFG-financed research training group "Forms of Prestige in Cultures of the Ancient World" was established in 2005 and rewards doctorate grants for students in various subjetcs of Ancient Cultures. The Institute of Near Eastern Archaeology has been participating in this research training group right from the start. Up to the present, the following doctoral canditates have received a grant: Elisa Roßberger (2006-2009), Katja Sternitzke (2009-2011), Helen Gries (2011-2014) and Martin Gruber (2011-2015). 

The series of lectures of the researcj training group, on Thursdays from 4-6 pm, in the main building of the LMU, HS A 016, is open to all students and interested persons.
